Athletes Wanted!
Team Pittsburgh is recruiting athletes with a great sense of adventure to join our team for the 2010 season.
Our goal: Representing Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania region in the 2010 U.S. National Dragon Boat Racing Club Crew Championships that will be held in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 23-25, 2010.
Experienced dragon boat paddlers and newcomers are all welcome. We will hold at least 5 team practice sessions to acclimate new athletes and fine-tune the paddlers who join us from established teams.

May 1 - Provisional Entry Form must be received along with $200.00 deposit. This was mailed on April 21.
Each of us must pay $10.00 toward this. Some people paid after practice on Tuesday, if you have not yet paid this, please bring $ to Camp, or to next TP practice (May 1. If you end up not attending Nationals, your deposit will be refunded. Extra money collected will come off the remaining 750.00 registration fee.
June 1 - The Confirmed Entry -finalizes which divisions and racing classes the club will be entering - along with final payment ($750.00)
July 1 - Named Entry - finalizes which specific crew will enter each racing class - one form per crew required. Photos will be submitted electronically on line following instructions we get after the race committee receives the Confirmed Entry.The Named Crew List lists all potential participants for each specific crew. (if crew has potential members > 30 each of those costs $10.00 extra) (Updates to this list can be made up until July 21)
Due on site - Crew Roster (final 26 person list of crew members 22+4 alternates) and waivers are due at race time.

If you have already done land trials, you have probably submitted a team registration form and waiver. If that is not the case, please complete one asap and give to Larry. If you have not yet time trialed and plan to attend nationals, please contact Larry in order to arrange for this part of your qualification process.
